Job summary

The Learning Experience UK is inviting applications for a Lunchtime Assistant to support our first state-of-the-art nursery in the UK. The role covers lunch hours from about 11am to 2pm, delivering caring, child-centered activities that promote development and wellbeing.

Successful candidates will have Level 2 in Early Years, experience in early years settings with good or outstanding outcomes, and must be prepared for a DBS check prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Level 2 or Above Qualification in Early Years.
• Proven collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Join our Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
• Cover lunch hours from approximately 11am to 2pm.
• Deliver exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• Provide vital support to local nurseries with a flexible approach.
• Create enriching environments with engaging activities for indoors and outdoors.
• Adhere to safety policies and British Values embedded in LEAP and Early Years Foundation Stage.
