Job Title: English Teacher (Fixed-Term, 6 Months)
Location: NG5 Area
Start Date: 5th January 2025
Contract: Fixed-term until June 2025

Are you a fully qualified English Teacher ready to make a difference?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher (QTS) to join one of our supportive secondary schools in the NG5 area for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons, inspire students, and contribute to a positive and productive learning environment.

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and support school initiatives.

What We re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English
  • Strong lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and fostering their academic progress

Essential Requirements:
