Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is looking for a Qualified Electrician to work on commercial Solar PV projects across the UK, delivering electrical installation from containment and cabling to testing and handover.

You will join lead electricians and installation teams, travelling nationwide and staying away as required, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

The role requires Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th edition, ECS Gold Card, and a willingness to travel with a full driving licence.

Qualifications

Qualified Electrician with experience in commercial/industrial electrical installation.
Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods and safety standards.
Experience with Solar PV projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Electrical installation on commercial Solar PV projects.
Install tray, ladder, trunking and conduit.
Cable pulling, termination and testing.
Read electrical drawings and schematics.
Support commissioning and project handover.
Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.

Qualified Electrician - Commercial Solar PV

Location: UK Wide - Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Staying Away Package

Position: Full Time

We are looking for qualified Electricians to work across commercial Solar PV and energy projects throughout the UK.

You will work alongside Lead Electricians and installation teams, delivering electrical works from containment and cabling through to testing and handover.
