Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to work on commercial Solar PV projects across the UK. The role involves electrical installation, from containment and cabling through to testing and handover, with travel and nights away where required.

You will join a team of Lead Electricians and installation crews, delivering high standards of safety and workmanship on energy projects nationwide. A full UK driving licence and UK-based eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must-have: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2, ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent.
• Must-have: Commercial/industrial electrical installation experience.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide and stay away as required.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation on commercial Solar PV projects.
• Install tray, ladder, trunking and conduit.
• Cable pulling, termination and testing.
• Read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Support commissioning and project handover.
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.

Qualified Electrician - Commercial Solar PV

Location: UK Wide - Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Staying Away Package

Position: Full Time

We are looking for qualified Electricians to work across commercial Solar PV and energy projects throughout the UK.

You will work alongside Lead Electricians and installation teams, delivering electrical works from containment and cabling through to testing and handover.
