Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd invites applications for a Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide. This site-based role involves UK travel and a hands-on approach.

You will manage electrical crews, mentor apprentices and support engineers, oversee containment, cabling, testing and commissioning, coordinate with mechanical teams, and maintain high H&S and workmanship standards on every project.

Qualifications

• Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience.
• Previous experience leading electrical teams.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• AM2
• ECS Gold Card
• 18th Edition
• 2391 or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willing to travel and stay away nationwide
• Solar PV and EV qualifications advantageous

Location: Site Based - UK Travel

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + Van + Staying Away Package

Position: Full Time

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.
