Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a passionate Early Years Practitioner to work flexibly across nurseries in Sandwell and South Birmingham. You will support children's learning within a safe, nurturing environment and help them reach their full potential in line with the EYFS.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/EYFS, have experience in nurseries, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS.
• Experience in an early years or nursery setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and daily routines.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's personal care needs.
• Work in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observe and record children's progress.
• Encourage positive relationships and social development.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
• Work closely with nursery staff and other professionals.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children in a safe, nurturing and stimulating nursery environment, helping them learn, develop and reach their full potential.

• Supporting children's personal care needs
• Working in line with the EYFS framework

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
