Job summary

Aspire People is seeking enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join trusted nursery settings across the local area in the West Midlands.

You will work as part of a dedicated team supporting 0-5 year olds with high quality care and EYFS-based learning, with flexible full-time or part-time shifts to fit availability.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Passion for working with young children and supporting development.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, development and wellbeing of 0-5-year-olds per EYFS.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment where children feel secure to learn.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities supporting development.
• Recognise and support children's individual needs and stages of development.

Nursery Practitioner - Aspire People

Aspire People is delighted to be working with a range of reputable nursery settings across the local area, who are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their teams.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0-5 years. You will work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel secure and encouraged to learn.
• Plan and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Recognise and support children's individual needs, interests, abilities and stages of development.
• Encourage children to develop their confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and implementing activities that promote children's learning and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children in your care.

What We Are Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
