Job summary

Confidential in West Molesey is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain accurate records and support the finance function.

The role requires a recognised bookkeeping qualification, at least two years’ experience and strong knowledge of QuickBooks. It is office-based, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a salary up to £40,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• A recognised bookkeeping qualification is essential.
• Minimum of two years' bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and general accounting software.
• Strong IT, spreadsheets and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments, receipts and other financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Manage supplier invoices, payment schedules and outstanding balances.
• Complete and submit VAT returns in accordance with requirements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor income and expenditure to support cash flow management.
• Process payroll and maintain employee wage records.
• Review and manage employee expenses and reimbursement claims.
• Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with the Accountant.
