Morgan Hunt is proud to be working exclusively with Rethink Mental Illness on their search for 4 qualified Advocates.

Rethink is the leading charity for people with conditions including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. They tirelessly work to transform the lives of those severely affected by mental illness and influence how mental health is approached in the UK. Rethink provides over 80 services, local support groups, and runs campaigns that bring about real change.

We are looking for:

• 2 X Multidisciplinary Advocates in Hackney - 35 hours/week
• 0.7 Wandsworth and Richmond Single Disciplinary Advocate (IMHA) - 24.5 hours/week
• 1 X Multidisciplinary Advocate in Wandsworth and Richmond - 35 hours/week

Role Responsibilities:

As a qualified advocate, you will provide statutory and/or non-statutory independent advocacy to eligible individuals within community or case settings.

You will manage your caseload, using a person-led, issue-based advocacy approach, closing cases efficiently when work concludes, and identifying when additional advocacy support is needed.

Minimum Requirements:

- Completion of the Independent Advocacy Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy and willingness to complete Level 4.

- Or full qualification as an advocate, such as the Level 3 National Advocacy Qualification or the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification.
