Job Title: Litigation Consultant - Employment Law

Our client, a true market leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Litigation Consultant specializing in employment law to join their field-based team. The successful candidate will have advocacy experience and manage cases across their locality, with some travel across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home and represent clients in employment tribunal cases. It is ideal for a qualified Advocate seeking an improved work-life balance or an HR professional with experience in tribunal settings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review allocated claims brought against clients in the Employment Tribunal, in conjunction with the Litigation Executive, including approving drafted pleadings, disclosure exercises, and document bundles.
  2. Represent clients in tribunals, hearings, and contested cases.
  3. Prepare cases, write reports, and manage trials in court.
  4. Provide clear case assessments, identify and manage risks, including cost implications.
  5. Represent client interests fully and present relevant legal arguments.

Person Specification:

  1. Advocacy experience, ideally within employment law.
  2. Experience in representing clients in employment tribunal cases.
  3. Professional qualification preferred but not essential.
  4. Valid driving license and ability to work autonomously.
  5. Ability to work under pressure.
