Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is partnering with an OFSTED rated Good secondary school in Bury to appoint a History Teacher for a long-term, full-time role starting immediately. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, plan engaging lessons and maintain strong classroom management to support students' progress.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS with History, have KS3/KS4 experience, and bring a solid knowledge of the History curriculum, along with excellent communication and an adaptable

Salary: £160 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED rated 'Good' secondary school in Bury, who are looking to appoint a History Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful History Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining strong classroom management and supporting students to make academic progress.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the History curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
