Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Didcot seeks a QRA Manager to lead quality, regulatory and GDP/compliance activities across operations. You will act as Deputy Responsible Person, guiding governance and risk management while supporting customer needs and continuous improvement.

You will manage the Quality Control team, oversee investigations into deviations, and ensure all agreements with clients and suppliers meet regulatory and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in QA Pharmaceutical storage and Logistics requirements is essential.
• Full understanding of GDP and GMP processes where applicable.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and supply chain elements.
• GxP regulatory requirements and QMS procedures awareness.
• Gains alignment for customer needs across the organisation.
• Experience in Medical Devices, Cold Chain, Validation, Transportation and Packaging.
• Driven, motivated, results and goal orientated.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Quality, Regulatory and GDP compliance activities, ensuring patient safety and compliance with EU GDP, client and DHL standards.
• Act as the site's Deputy Responsible Person, providing expert quality and regulatory guidance with robust governance.
• Manage and develop the Quality Control team, ensuring inbound, sampling, release and certification meet KPIs.
• Oversee investigations into deviations, complaints and non-conformances with RCA and CAPA processes.
• Review and maintain Quality and Technical Agreements with clients and suppliers.
• Support new client implementations, service expansions and continuous improvement projects.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Join DHL Supply Chain as a QRA Manager and take the lead in driving quality, compliance, risk, and assurance across our operation. Working closely with operational teams and customers, you'll ensure regulatory compliance, champion continuous improvement, and support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality services

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Lead all Quality, Regulatory and GDP compliance activities, ensuring patient safety remains at the forefront of operations and that all activities meet EU GDP, client and DHL standards
• Act as the site's Deputy Responsible Person, providing expert quality and regulatory guidance while ensuring robust governance, risk management and compliance across the operation
• Manage and develop the Quality Control team, ensuring all inbound, sampling, release and certification processes are completed accurately, compliantly and in line with agreed KPIs
• Oversee investigations into deviations, complaints and non-conformances, supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA activities and change control processes to deliver effective and sustainable resolutions
• Review, approve and maintain Quality and Technical Agreements with clients and suppliers, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations
• Support business growth and change initiatives by providing quality and regulatory expertise for new client implementations, service expansions and continuous improvement projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operational teams and key stakeholders, acting as the primary escalation point for quality-related issues and driving exceptional customer satisfaction
• Champion a Quality First culture by driving training, compliance awareness and best practice across the site, promoting right-first-time behaviours and delivering measurable improvements in quality performance and operational excellence

this Role Would Suit People Who

• Previous experience in QA Pharmaceutical storage and Logistics requirements is essential
• Fully compliant on all key elements of the Quality Management System and have full understanding of GDP and GMP processes where applicable
• Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and supply chain elements
• Market and industry knowledge in particular around GxP regulatory requirements and GxP compliance QMS and associated procedures
