Job summary

Irwin and Colton, on behalf of a leading Facilities Management organisation, are recruiting a QHSE Manager in London to raise health and safety performance across a major property portfolio and drive best practice.

You will engage stakeholders, oversee ISO management systems (45001/14001/9001), investigate incidents and implement corrective actions, and help shape strategy across the wider team. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership are required, with regular London-based work.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership
• Proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally Property/hard Facilities Management
• Proven experience of ISO Management systems (45001/14001/9001)
• A pragmatic approach to safety and ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders
• Based in London regularly during the working week

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to drive a positive safety culture
• Day-to-day management of ISO-systems 45001/14001/9001
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to improve performance
• Lead the wider team in developing and delivering the safety strategy

QHSE Manager
Location: London
Salary: up to £60,000 + Benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by one of the world's leading Facilities Management organisations, who are looking to bring onboard a new QHSE Manager. This role will specifically be working alongside one of the organisation's most prestigious partners who own and develop several distinguished properties across London. The organisation holds a multibillion-pound portfolio with a focus on commercial property.

This role will primarily focus on working with key internal stakeholders across the business, to raise the level of health and safety performance across the major property portfolio and support the drive of best practice across the business. The role will report to the Head of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities of the QHSE Manager will include:

• Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to assist and drive a positive culture
• Day-to-day management of ISO-systems 45001/14001/9001
• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements
• Managing across the wider team in the development and delivery of the strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the health and safety function internally and externally
• Overseeing administrative tasks and collection of data once tasks have been completed and revealing the findings to improve performance

The successful QHSE Manager will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
• Proven experience in a similar health and safety role; ideally Property / hard Facilities Management; supporting the drive on change across an organisation
• Proven experience of ISO Management systems (45001 / 14001 / 9001)
• A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Happy to be based in London regularly through the working week
