Mitie Group plc. in Bromsgrove is seeking a QHSE Manager to lead health, safety, environment and quality across Rock Power Connections projects.

You will drive strategy, ensure compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards, and support continual improvement on high-risk construction and utility operations. The role requires NEBOSH Diploma and a Lead Auditor qualification, proven QHSE leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety and Environmental Management (or equivalent) and a Lead Auditor qualification for ISO standards.
  • Proven experience managing QHSE teams, systems and KPIs, with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of QHSE legislation, CDM regulations, temporary works, streetworks, and safe systems of work
  • Full UK Driving License

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Rock Power Connections QHSE strategy, objectives and KPIs, supporting a proactive culture and continual improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality legislation, company policies and safe systems of work.
  • Support the integration of Mitie procedures and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including external audits.
  • Monitor performance, investigate incidents, produce reports and provide QHSE guidance to operational leadership teams.
  • Lead, support and develop the RPC QHSE team, deliver training and maintain visible QHSE leadership through regular site visits.
