Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a QC Laboratory Analyst in Preston to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves quality control testing on bulk liquids and finished products, with responsibilities spanning data reporting and production support.

The position requires an HNC in Chemistry or a Chemistry degree with relevant experience, plus hands-on use of analytical equipment and a strong eye for detail. GMP adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• Perform laboratory testing in line with specifications and approved methods.
• Interpret and report analytical results accurately.
• Investigate out-of-specification results with Technical and Manufacturing teams.
• Release bulk products for filling and support production schedules.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and assist with validation.
• Prepare laboratory reagents and maintain samples, records and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities
