Job summary

SRG are recruiting a QC Analyst for a permanent role at their Cheshire site. The role covers wet chemistry analysis of raw materials and finished products, using HPLC, GC and IC.

You will record, report and manage data in the quality system, with responsibility for equipment upkeep and material approvals. The ideal candidate holds a Chemistry degree and has industrial wet chemistry experience, including HPLC/GC, while being able to work safely with hazardous chemicals and within a small team

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry (or similar) required.
• Proven industrial experience of wet chemistry analysis, HPLC and/or GC.
• Able to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Good time management and organisational skills in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry analyses on raw materials and finished products.
• Use HPLC, GC and IC instruments following approved methods.
• Record and report data within the quality system accurately.
• Report results promptly under direction and priority.
• Carry out analytical investigations to meet research needs.
• Maintain and upkeep analytical equipment.
• Approve or reject raw materials.
