Job summary

RBW Consulting is supporting the expansion of the QC team at a leading UK facility for an international pharmaceutical company. As a QC chemist you will perform in-process analyses using HPLC, GC and related techniques to support fast-paced, time-sensitive manufacturing.

The role requires excellent communication in a small team, a flexible mindset, and willingness to work shifts including nights. A clear progression and training pathway is in place to develop both technical and financial rewards

Qualifications

• Educated to degree (or equivalent) in a Life Sciences subject.
• Experience in QC chemistry or production chemistry is advantageous.
• Experience with chromatography including HPLC and GC.
• Solid understanding of GMP or ability to work to strict procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights.

Job description

Working exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company, we are supporting the expansion of the QC team in one of their key UK facilities.

As a QC chemist, you will be working in an in-process manufacturing setting utilisting HPLC, GC and other specific chemical analyses to support the fast paced, time sensitive manufacturing process. The team is relatively small so therefore your communication skills will be exceptional and you will demonstrate a true flexible and adaptable approach.

These positions will be shift based and include nights - naturally a flexible mindset is needed for this type of position.

Key Experience

• Educated to degree (or equivalent level) in a Life Sciences subject
• Previous quality control (QC) chemistry or production chemistry experience would be advantageous
• Experience and/or understanding of chromatography techniques including HPLC and GC.
• A solid understanding of GMP principles – or at least the ability to work to strict regulated procedures
• Flexible to work shifts
