Job summary

Talentmark Limited is recruiting for a Quality Control Technician at a Specialist Chemicals Company site in Northampton. This permanent role involves a Sunday to Thursday night shift from 10pm to 6am, following a three month day-shift training period (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm).

The role reports to the QC Manager and focuses on supporting production through QC testing. The salary will be £26,000-£30,000 with a 30% shift premium once nights commence.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience is preferred, specifically in a quality role.
• Accurate time management and record keeping.
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent sense of smell and eye for detail.
• Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice may be required.
• Ideally A level qualified in science.

Responsibilities

• Release raw materials and laboratory batches after testing to specification.
• Accurately reading and entering all data onto QC systemwith due regard for specification.
• Obtain specifications from suppliers for raw materials and enter onto database.

This role will be based at their site in Northampton and is a permanent role, working Sunday to Thursday nights, 10pm - 6am. The night shift will commence following the completion of a three month training period which will be on day shift, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm.

The expected salary for this role will be between £26,000-£30,000 plus a 30% shift premium once night shifts commence.
