Vaisto Recruitment Ltd in Warrington is seeking a Practice Accountant (QBE) to take ownership of client accounts from source records through to completion.

You will join a small, family-run chartered firm with a loyal client base, offering long-term stability, direct client work, and meaningful technical accounting. School hours or 1 day from home hybrid working considered, with free parking.

Qualificações

• Several years' hands-on general practice experience, ideally gained in a small or independent firm.
• Comfortable preparing accounts from start to finish, not just reviewing software output.
• Working knowledge of VAT returns; training provided for relevant software.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for travel to client sites.
• Confident working directly with clients, including face-to-face meetings.
• Seeking a stable, long-term role rather than a fast-track career move.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts Preparation & Compliance: prepare financial statements for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from source records to completion.
• Client Relationships: respond to client queries and build long-term relationships with a loyal client base; attend client meetings and travel to clients across the North West.
• Supporting the Team: assist directors with ad hoc work and contribute to AML checks.
