Job summary

Vaisto Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a QBE Accounts and Tax Senior / Accountancy Practice Manager in Heswall, Wirral. The role mixes hands-on accounts and tax with light practice management and front-of-house duties in a friendly, long-established local practice.

The successful candidate will handle accounts and tax for small business and personal clients, support office operations, and be the welcoming face for clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified or QBE accountant with practice experience
• Comfortable handling both accounts and tax work
• Ability to greet clients and support office operations

Responsibilities

• Preparing small business and personal accounts
• Preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns
• Managing a portfolio of simple business, corporate and personal clients
• Raising bills and allocating receipts
• Setting up new clients on internal systems
• Assisting with day-to-day running of the practice
• Greeting clients and visitors as the first point of contact
• Answering the phone with low call volume
• Supporting around two client meetings per day with refreshment service
