Job summary

RecruitAbility Ltd is seeking a fully qualified accountant for a part-time, hybrid role in Stansted. The position offers approximately 21 hours per week with flexibility and predominantly home-based working, plus the potential to increase hours as the business grows.

The successful candidate will prepare and review accounts, produce management accounts and cash flow forecasts, and support clients with accounting queries while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA.
• Two years of relevant experience, practice experience preferred.
• Confident working independently, managing priorities and taking responsibility for your work.
• Strong communication skills and a personable approach to client relationships.
• Good attention to detail and an interest in helping businesses develop.
• Experience with accounting software; familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be helpful.
• A driving licence and access to a car is required for the office location and client visits.

RecruitAbility is looking for a fully qualified accountant to join a small, close-knit accountancy practice.

This friendly, professional team takes a proactive approach to supporting its clients. Alongside preparing accounts, you'll help business owners understand their financial position, manage cash flow and make informed decisions.

With flexible part-time hours and predominantly home-based working, this opportunity could suit someone returning to work or an experienced accountant looking for a better balance around other commitments. School-friendly hours will be considered.

The role will initially be approximately 21 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours as the business grows.
