Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking a QA/QC M&E Engineer to join our UK team. The role focuses on preparing handover documentation, implementing QA/QC procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance across electrical and mechanical works throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated QA/QC experience in electrical/mechanical projects.
• 5+ years in a similar role essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare handover inspections, test documentation and operation & maintenance manuals.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures across project lifecycle.
• Review and issue final handover packages to client.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards during installation and inspection.
• Perform quality inspections and manage defect close-out.
• Oversee testing execution on the project.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and consultants on quality matters.
• Input into weekly progress reporting on quality items.
