Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone offers a 1-year Quality Assurance Engineer Student Placement starting July 2027. You will join a high-performance Formula One team, supporting non-conformances, investigations, and data-driven quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

This placement delivers exposure to QA systems, SOPs, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and manufacturing, with onsite assessment in September and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and in penultimate year of university.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret technical information and identify trends from data.
• Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, or mechanical systems.
• Confident communicator with ability to present findings clearly across departments.
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to question processes and suggest improvements.
• You must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identification and control of non-conforming products.
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to corrective/preventative actions.
• Participate in creation, review and revision of SOPs.
• Compile and present reports communicating QA outcomes.
• Engage in departmental projects to enhance operation performance and drive continuous improvement.
