Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone is offering a one-year Process Engineer Student Placement. You will work with Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Stores, Manufacturing and Engineering to identify improvements across operational processes, analyse data, and support process development projects.

You'll contribute to initiatives that improve quality, efficiency and performance, document procedures, and communicate outcomes through reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for an Engineering degree (e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, or a related discipline) and seeking an industry placement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, quality, process improvement, or supply chain principles would be beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data and producing clear reports and documentation.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
• Be available to attend onsite for interviews.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data from multiple sources to support operational reviews and decision‑making activities
• Support the development, implementation, and auditing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the outcomes of operational and supply chain improvement activities
• Participate in quality, efficiency, and supply chain improvement projects across the business
• Develop an understanding of products, components, and manufacturing processes to support operational activities
• Identifyprocess gaps and support the development of solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance
• Contribute to the design of processes that reduce risk, minimise cost and lead times, and maintainhigh-quality standards
• Prepare,maintain, and implement process documentation and operating instructions.
