Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a 1-year Quality Assurance Engineer Student Placement based at Enstone, starting July 2027. You will support the QA Engineering team in managing non-conformances, undertake fault investigations, and help drive quality control procedures and data analysis in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires studying Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering, with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical data.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and looking for an industry placement during your penultimate year of university.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical information and identify trends from data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and control of all non-conforming products.
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Participate in the creation, review and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Compile and present reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities.
• Engage in departmental projects to enhance operation performance and actively support continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer Student Placement, you’ll step into a fast-paced, high-performance environment where attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement is essential. The role offers exposure to quality systems and operational practices that help deliver race-winning reliability and performance.

The Role

During the placement, you’ll support the Quality Assurance Engineering team in managing non-conformances and conducting investigations into faults raised both at the factory and trackside. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to quality control procedures, data analysis, and problem-solving initiatives that help drive the Team forward.

Who We’re Looking For

• An understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, or mechanical systems
• Confident communicator with the ability to present findings clearly and work effectively with people across multiple departments
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to question processes and suggest improvements
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September
