ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone is offering a one-year student placement in the Quality Assurance Engineering team. You will support handling non-conformances, investigate faults at factory and on track, and work with experienced engineers to improve quality control processes.

We seek an undergraduate in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering entering penultimate year, with keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings across

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering.
• Penultimate year university placement in industry.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to interpret technical information and identify trends from data.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Be available for onsite assessment centre in September.

The role offers exposure to quality systems and operational practices that help deliver race-winning reliability and performance.

The Role

During the placement,you’llsupport the Quality Assurance Engineering team in managing non-conformances and conducting investigations into faults raised both at the factory and trackside.You’llwork closely with experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to quality control procedures, data analysis, and problem-solving initiatives that help drive the Team forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistin the identification and control of all non-conforming products
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Participate in the creation,reviewand revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Compile and present reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities
• Engage in departmental projects to enhance operation performance and actively support continuous improvement initiatives

WhoWe’reLooking For

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and looking for an industry placementduringyour penultimate year of university
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical information andidentifytrends from data
• An understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, or mechanical systems
• Confident communicator with the ability to present findings clearly and work effectively withpeople across multiple departments
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to question processes and suggest improvements
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September
