ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone offers a 1-year Quality Assurance Engineer Student Placement starting July 2027. You will join a high-performance Formula One team, supporting non-conformances, investigations, and data-driven quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

This placement delivers exposure to QA systems, SOPs, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and manufacturing, with onsite assessment in September and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and in penultimate year of university.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret technical information and identify trends from data.
• Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, or mechanical systems.
• Confident communicator with ability to present findings clearly across departments.
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to question processes and suggest improvements.
• You must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September.

The Role

During the placement, you'll support the Quality Assurance Engineering team in managing non-conformances and conducting investigations into faults raised both at the factory and trackside. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to quality control procedures, data analysis, and problem-solving initiatives that help drive the Team forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and control of all non-conforming products
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Participate in the creation, review and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Compile and present reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities
• Engage in departmental projects to enhance operation performance and actively support continuous improvement initiatives

Who We're Looking For

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and looking for an industry placement during your penultimate year of university
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical information and identify trends from data
• An understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, or mechanical systems
• Confident communicator with the ability to present findings clearly and work effectively with people across multiple departments
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to question processes and suggest improvements
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September
