Job summary

ParkIT in Birmingham is seeking a QA Analyst to perform manual testing and validation of our parking software. You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure software meets requirements and acceptance criteria, while leveraging approved AI tools to expand test ideas and troubleshoot effectively.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manual software testing or QA.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts and processes.
• Experience applying verification/validation to complex software or systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing to validate software against requirements.
• Confirm applications meet acceptance criteria and expected user outcomes.
• Turn requirements into clear test conditions and cases with Product/Engineering.
• Use AI tools where valuable to expand test scenarios and improve docs.
• Review AI-assisted outputs for edge cases and accuracy before relying on them.
• Execute functional, regression and exploratory tests across environments and browsers.
