The role involves handling UK and international shipments, ERP updates, and collaboration with the sales team to optimise stock and pricing. A hands-on, detail-oriented professional is desired for this permanent full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, operations, or export administration.
• Manufacturing, engineering or distribution environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of export procedures, customs documentation and international shipping advantageous.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and manage supplier accounts.
• Chase suppliers for lead times, delivery dates, and order confirmations.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to meet customer demand.
• Receive goods and update internal systems.
• Process customer sales orders and liaise with sales on stock and delivery schedules.
• Organise UK and international shipments with couriers and freight forwarders.
• Track deliveries and resolve shipment-related queries.
• Prepare export documentation including invoices, packing lists, customs docs, and commodity codes.
• Handle customer and carrier enquiries relating to customs and shipping.
• Support sales with pricing, stock, and delivery information.
• Manage returns and product-related administration.
• Ensure supplier invoices and delivery data pass to accounts.
