Job description

Salary: Up to £27k depending on experience, plus performance bonus up to £1800 pa.

Hours: 08:30-17:30, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, office-based (flexibility with start and finish times if only taking a 30-minute lunch); once per week, an option for an early shift - 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, 1-hour lunch.

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrator:

  • Place purchase orders aligned with delivery schedules
  • Handle ad hoc orders for direct deliveries and special requests
  • Maintain purchase order due dates and chase back orders
  • Resolve invoice queries
  • Monitor stock levels and address out-of-stock issues
  • Review stock levels periodically to ensure continuous supply and efficient warehouse space management
  • Collaborate with buyers to monitor supplier performance
  • Work with the Sales team to capture new customer requirements
  • Coordinate with the Goods In team to notify suppliers of delivery discrepancies and provide solutions
