Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the Purchase Ledger Clerk role is essential.
  • Ability to accurately register a large quantity of invoices.
  • Confidence in dealing with day-to-day queries from suppliers.

  • Register a high volume of invoices (100+ per day).
  • Ensure timely payments and manage supplier authorisations.
  • Perform monthly statement reconciliations and ad hoc finance duties.

Job description

Greenhous DAF Wolverhamptonis looking for aPurchase Ledger Clerkto join the Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced team.

Salary:Dependent on Experience (to be discussed at interview stage)

Working hours:Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities:

You will receive training to enable you to:

  • To register a large quantity of invoices 100+ per day.
  • Post invoices to match the GRNI.
  • Dealing with day-to-day queries from suppliers.
  • To ensure invoices are referred to the correct manager for authorisation.
  • To carry out checks on supplier bank details to make sure they are correct.
  • To produce monthly statement reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To raise payments to suppliers and submit the payment run on time.
  • To produce quarterly reconciliations of the Paccar account.
  • Reception cover as required.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties within the finance department.
