Purchase Ledger Accountant - Leading Business

We are currently recruiting for a leading business that requires a Purchase Ledger Accountant to cover a busy period. The role involves:

1. Accurately managing the purchase order process
2. Receiving and matching supplier invoices against approved purchase orders
3. Uploading and storing matched supplier invoices into the accounting system for payment
4. Ensuring proper document referencing and storage
5. Initiating payment requests in line with payment terms
6. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving issues
7. Managing intercompany transactions and reporting
8. Completing month-end activities accurately and on time
9. Managing relationships with internal and external suppliers
10. Performing ad hoc duties as required by the business

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful, you will need:

1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
2. Be a team player
3. Availability to start immediately
