Job summary

Hillside Primary School in Ipswich, part of the Active Learning Trust, is seeking a Pupil Wellbeing Officer. Responsibilities

• Provide targeted wellbeing support and interventions for pupils experiencing social, emotional, behavioural or attendance challenges.
• Work with families, staff and external agencies to develop and implement effective support plans.
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, supporting safeguarding processes, referrals and record keeping.
• Lead the monitoring, reporting and improvement of pupil attendance, including work with persistently absent pupils.
• Maintain accurate wellbeing and safeguarding records and provide advice, guidance and training where required.
