Job summary

Argyll and Bute Council in Scotland is seeking a committed Peripatetic Pupil Support Teacher to join our Inclusion & Equality team. You will provide targeted intervention and support for pupils who need help with learning, wellbeing, communication, literacy, numeracy, emotional regulation, or engagement in school life.

Working with classroom teachers, pastoral staff, families, and external agencies, you will promote inclusive practice and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Specialist support for pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN).
• Ability to work with teachers, pastoral staff and families.
• Opportunity to train and coach colleagues in inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted intervention and support for pupils who require additional assistance with learning, wellbeing, communication, literacy, numeracy, emotional regulation, or engagement in school life.
• Support development of inclusive practice through training, coaching and team teaching, where appropriate.
