Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a dedicated assistant to support teachers across a cluster, promoting achievement and pupil wellbeing. You will work with pupils from P1 to S6, in a flexible location within Inverurie CSN, ensuring a safe, secure learning environment.

The role requires commitment to quality service delivery and readiness to engage with children and vulnerable groups, with PVG scheme requirement and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership or update check required prior to employment.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required if spent time outside the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising pupil attainment while supporting care, health, wellbeing and safety.
• Be flexible in school location within the cluster and work with pupils from P1 to S6.
• Commit to quality service delivery and continuous improvement for the service.
