Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council invites applications for a class support role to assist teachers in promoting achievement and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment for pupils from P1 to S6. The post emphasises care, health, wellbeing and safeguarding to support individual needs while raising attainment.

The role requires flexibility to work across the Fraserburgh cluster and may involve relocating between sites within the Fraserburgh CSN.

Job description

Assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising the standards of pupil attainment and provide general support in relation to the needs of the class and individuals’ care, health and wellbeing and safety; to ensure a secure and safe environment.

There is a requirement to be flexible in school location within the cluster, according to individual circumstances and work with a range of pupils from P1 – S6.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Initially you will be based in the location advertised, but you may be required to work elsewhere within the Fraserburgh CSN.
