St. Aidan's in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated Pupil and Family Support Worker and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. This role involves providing direct support to children, young people, and their families to overcome challenges and promote their well-being and attendance. The successful candidate will collaborate with the safeguarding and attendance team, support pupils facing barriers to learning, and act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead in the absence of the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
The role includes engaging with vulnerable families, delivering early intervention, and coordinating support services to improve outcomes related to attendance, behavior, and well-being. The candidate will serve as the lead professional for assigned families, empowering them to achieve positive change.
