Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Engineer (Pumps) for a Newcastle-under-Lyme based role. You will service, repair, and assemble pumps, wire control units, and program units using drawings and instructions.

This hands-on workshop position offers progression to Supervisor, training, and a company bonus, with a 30k-35k salary and 5% pension. Commutable to the site and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop/engineering environment is essential.
• Basic electrical wiring experience is required.
• Experience with pumps or pump manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, assemble, and inspect pumps and associated equipment.
• Wire control units and connect equipment using technical drawings.
• Program control units and fault-find mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Inspect deliveries and completed equipment before dispatch.
• Work with a dedicated engineering team with progression to Supervisor.
