Job summary

ATA Recruitment in Warrington is seeking a Workshop Engineer (Pumps) to service, repair and overhaul centrifugal pump systems across building services, industrial and wastewater sectors. The role is a Monday–Friday workshop position with a salary of £40,000–£50,000.

You will join a growing engineering business recently acquired by a major European group, offering stability and ongoing training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing, repairing or overhauling pumps.
• Experience with a pump manufacturer, distributor or service company.
• NVQ Level3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and overhauling centrifugal pumps
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings
• Completing workshop-based repairs and testing before dispatch
• Maintaining safety and high-quality workmanship
