Job summary

Deritend, part of the Rubix Group, is recruiting for a permanent, full-time role based in the UK. The role focuses on inspecting, identifying problems, stripping and repairing motor and gearbox assemblies to customer standards.

You will carry out fault analysis, source components, complete repairs, test items, and maintain test equipment and workshop standards in a QA-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro/mechanical repair of pumps and gear boxes.
• Ability to inspect, fault analyse, source components and carry out repairs.
• Familiar with test equipment and workshop procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspection and fault analysis on pumps, pumping systems, pipe work and related equipment.
• Source components and complete repairs.
• Test repaired items and report results.
• Develop test equipment and procedures.
• Prepare fault/repair reports and liaise with suppliers and customers.
• Maintain workshop tools and present tidy work area.
