Job summary

Rubix is seeking a skilled engineer to join our team, performing fault finding and rectification of defective components within a mixed on-site and workshop setting. You will assess AC/DC electrical conditions and apply mechanical know-how to repair and reclaim parts.

Experience with pumps (hot oil, water) and basic hydraulics is preferred. You will work flexibly in a demanding 24/7 service environment, with strong emphasis on health and safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Fault finding and rectifying defects and worn/damaged components.
• Basic electrical testing capability to assess AC & DC components.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge to identify faulty components and reclamation techniques.
• Pump experience with hot oil and water; basic hydraulic knowledge.
• Health & safety are at the forefront of duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Fault find and rectify defects and worn/damaged components.
• Assess electrical condition of AC & DC components.
• Identify and rectify faulty components and understand reclamation and reverse engineering options.
• Support on-site and in workshop environments, with flexibility for 24/7 service.
