Student Castle in Liverpool is seeking a friendly cleaning assistant to maintain public areas, reception, and social spaces. You will support student welfare, assist with kitchen and flat inspections, and help with manual handling during busy periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties around property and grounds
• Keep front entrance and reception clean
• Report damages or faults to maintenance
• Report near-misses or accidents to First Aider
• Clean internal doors, frames and glass as needed
• Mop, vacuum, and clean floors in public areas
• Keep areas free from rubbish and hazards
• Ensure hygienic and non-slippery conditions
• Use wet-floor signage when needed
• Sanitize touchpoints like lift buttons and door handles
• Replenish consumables
• Be helpful and patient with customers
• Report welfare concerns about students
• Attend required safety/wellbeing training
• Maintain discretion in student flats or rooms
