Government Digital Service (GDS) is hiring multiple User Researchers to work on GOV.UK. You will conduct user research to improve public services, publish findings, and support government colleagues in delivering accessible information to the public.

You will partner with product teams, designers and developers to ensure research informs product and service improvements, driving better outcomes for users and government alike.

Qualificações

• Experience applying a range of user research methods to inform design decisions.
• Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to recruit participants and manage research projects.

Responsabilidades

• Independently plan and conduct a wide range of user research activities aligned to team goals.
• Deliver high-quality, end-to-end research from planning to reporting.
• Design and execute research that informs government product/service improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and developers to translate insights into features.
• Advocate for user needs while aligning with wider business goals.
• Clearly communicate research insights to teams to foster shared understanding.
• Continuously explore innovative methods to improve outcomes and contribute to knowledge libraries.
• Manage time effectively to deliver high-quality research on schedule.
