Job summary

dxw is seeking an Interaction Designer to work in multidisciplinary teams, shaping accessible, user-centred public services. You’ll own design work from discovery to live beta, collaborating with researchers, designers, developers and clients.

We value inclusive design and clear communication, and offer flexible working within a remote-first UK setup with offices in Leeds and London. You’ll spend time across discovery, strategy, and delivery phases, contributing to projects of varying sizes

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience designing digital products or services in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong focus on accessibility and inclusive design.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through visuals and interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design accessible, user-centred interfaces for public services across channels.
• Create prototypes from paper sketches to low-/high-fidelity tools and some coded prototypes.
• Collaborate with researchers, content designers, developers and delivery leads.
• Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with teams and clients.
• Contribute to improving design practice within dxw.
