Job summary

iO Associates in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Interaction Designer to shape accessible, user-centred digital services across discovery, alpha and delivery. You will lead design beyond screens and work across research, service design, content design and engineering teams.

The role requires facilitating workshops with users and stakeholders, translating complex needs into usable interaction journeys, and ensuring accessibility and buildability within an agile delivery context.

Qualifications

• End-to-end interaction design experience across discovery, alpha and delivery.
• Ability to collaborate with customers/users and senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in facilitating workshops and co-design sessions.
• Experience working with development teams in agile delivery environments.
• Strong focus on accessible services (WCAG principles).
• Portfolio showing problem framing, decisions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading interaction design across discovery, alpha and delivery phases
• Translating complex needs into user-centred flows, interaction models and service journeys
• Producing wireframes, prototypes, patterns and design assets to support decisions
• Facilitating workshops and working directly with users/customers and stakeholders
• Collaborating with research, service design, content design and engineering teams
• Supporting delivery teams to ensure accessible, usable and buildable solutions
