Job summary

iO Associates are recruiting a Senior Interaction Designer to shape accessible, user-centred digital services for a Central Government client. You will lead design from discovery through alpha to delivery, translating complex user and business needs into clear interaction journeys.

You will collaborate with researchers, service and content design, and engineering teams to ensure solutions are accessible, usable, and scalable while engaging with customers and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• End-to-end interaction design experience across discovery to delivery.
• Experience designing with a user-centred focus and addressing user needs.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate design decisions effectively.
• Proven capability to facilitate workshops and co-design sessions.
• Work well in an agile delivery environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading interaction design across discovery, alpha and delivery phases
• Translating complex needs into user-centred flows, interaction models and service journeys
• Producing wireframes, prototypes, patterns and design assets to support evidence-based decisions
• Facilitating workshops and working directly with users/customers and stakeholders
• Collaborating day-to-day with user research, service design, content design and engineering teams
• Supporting delivery teams to ensure solutions are accessible, usable and buildable
