Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5–8 years of advanced sales experience, ideally within public sector storage or enterprise IT.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong experience in a specific industry vertical (defence preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new opportunities within the public sector.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with account strategies.
• Develop pursuit plans with account managers.
• Establish trusted, consultative relationships with customers, including C-level stakeholders.
• Position solutions by knowledge of competitors and market trends.
• Lead or support proposals, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Provide technical expertise and support during customer engagements.
• Drive renewals and expansion within mid-sized, complex accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design tailored solutions.
• Support sales readiness and knowledge transfer across teams.
• Accurately forecast and track opportunities in CRM.
