Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Tableau Account Executive for the UK Public Sector to drive new logos and expand Tableau usage within government and public agencies. You will lead territory plans, build executive relationships, deliver compelling demos, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in SaaS/enterprise software sales, a proven track record in the Public Sector, and strong C-level engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field-based enterprise software sales experience, with a track record of complex deals.
• Experience selling to Public Sector agencies or government entities is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to engage C-level executives and manage multi-stakeholder decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a UK Public Sector territory, driving new business and expanding relationships with existing Salesforce customers.
• Build deep relationships with executives and program leaders across agencies.
• Execute account and territory plans, identifying opportunities and aligning Tableau with public sector needs.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close with a focus on customer success.
• Collaborate with Core AE, Product Support, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success for seamless delivery.
• Deliver product demonstrations and coordinate with Sales Engineering for deeper presentations.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline using Salesforce.com.
• Stay informed on industry trends and Tableau roadmap to communicate value to public sector clients.
• Travel within the UK as needed to build relationships and support sales activities.
