IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is hiring to design, build and support modern cloud and platform solutions. You will develop IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, create robust CI/CD pipelines and containerised apps with Docker/Kubernetes.

You will embed DevSecOps, implement observability and automate operations, while collaborating with delivery teams in regulated environments across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in DevOps, Platform/Cloud Engineering or similar role.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Monitoring/Observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog.
• Understanding security principles in SDLC and cloud environments.
• Git-based source control and collaborative development.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• BPSS pre-employment screening; NSV may be required.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and support modern cloud and platform solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Implement and maintain containerised solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Embed DevSecOps across cloud infrastructure, apps and deployment pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability to improve reliability and performance.
• Automate operational tasks with scripting and tooling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary delivery teams and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical best practices and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
• Support delivery in highly regulated and security-conscious environments.
