Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (UK Branch) seeks an Area Delivery Leader with executive accountability for delivery operations across the UK Government and Public Sector portfolio. You will drive cross-functional alignment, business development, and portfolio governance at the executive level to maximize revenue and customer outcomes.

The role requires a track record of leading large technology organizations, shaping transformation roadmaps, and delivering solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
• Knowledge of IaaS cloud transition challenges.
• 10+ years in IT or Management Consulting/Services, with ≥5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across the Delivery organization, directing Delivery Practice Managers and their teams toward strategic objectives.
• Ensure consistent delivery of market-leading solutions that exceed customer and partner satisfaction targets.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic business development and portfolio optimization.
• Partner with ProServe Account Executives to identify, shape, and define transformative customer business outcomes.
• Own the P&L with full accountability for team growth, performance optimization, and utilization targets.
• Serve as the senior escalation authority for Sales and Delivery, engaging across pre-sales, active engagements, and post-implementation governance.
• Define and execute the strategic vision for UKGI Public Sector delivery, translating organizational goals into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
